Although the recession may technically be over, America is not out of the woods yet. However, the leaders of our country have not completely abandoned us. All things considered, a good education is the first step towards a financially secure future, no matter what state the economy might be in. And, as our government realizes, the middle class is the backbone of our country, and that is who these programs are targeted towards.

Plus, with the influx of people pursuing their education, pressure has been put upon on our leaders to develop more programs that assist people with paying for and obtaining their education. Things such as an increase in grant money to help more people pay for school, and loan benefits that provide incentives, should be the next thing that our country does to give a helping hand to the up-and-coming middle class.
With a more educated workforce, our country can avoid catastrophic economic pitfalls and become stronger and more advanced.
